Product Description
The best solution for "mouth breathing" is the most simple approach: A comfortable chinstrap that simultaneously closes the jaw and seals the lips by pressing the bottom lip upward about one centimeter. However, a relatively large amount of tension delivered to the bottom of the chin is required to accomplish this.
The all-new, 100% cotton PAPCapTM does just that, mounting a totally new kind of chinstrap on a round cap that works with the natural round shape of the head in evenly distributing tension over the entire surface area of the head, without pressure points or discomfort. The most important innovation in this product is the use of a very stiff yet light cotton material. Stiffness is necessary in order to achieve the appropriate levels of tension in a comfortable way.
One size fits most.
This cap works best for heads under 23.5 inches headband diameter.

The cap was to large, I purchased a small size, so I had to run a seam up the top of the cap from front to back. The velcro was to close to my ears and hurt. I altered those up higher and it ti works fine. The chin strap is a little to long also.I brief I suppose I should say a great design, it just needs a smaller size. Also it would be helpful to give some way to determine what size is needed.

I've had this cap for about 6 months. Overall I think it's a good product but it required some needle and thread alterations before it fit properly. At least for me the cap was too big. The velcro straps need some attention regularly too because they can cut across where the ear attaches to the skull and that can hurt after a short while.Once the fitting stage was behind me I found the cap to be very effective.

I have a very round head and slick hair so all of the other chinstraps I tried (6 of them!) just slid around and did not stay put.I had concerns since I run hot that a cap would be to warm but it is made out of thin cotton that is comforable but plenty sturdy and not to hot. The chin strap is a softer cotton that does not cause me to break out like neoprene does.The cap part has a long velcro section that allows a lot of adjustment, and the chin strap has velcro adjustment on both sides. There is also a little velcro strap on the top of the hat so you can run the tubing over your head and attach it so it doesn't slide around all night.This is actually the second cap I am buying so I can wash one and still have the other to use, it does take a little longer to dry than some because it is cotton.
