My husband uses this product on a daily basis originally prescibed for an ulcer. It helped him feel better quickly and has continued with no recurring ulcers.

This product was recommended to me by my accupuncturist (also a dietician), after I found out that I suffered from Celiacs. She advised me to use a little more than the recommended dosage for the first week of GF eating, and adjusafter that week. That was almost 2 years ago, I still use it daily and have noticed the relief I feel if I get accidentally glutened.The texture is gritty but the taste is actually pretty good! It's sweet and reminds me of apple cinnamon oatmeal. I would say that initially you should mix it with a little bit of warm-hot water (to help dissolve) then add apple juice to that. That combo was too sweet for me but I know some people are put off by the texture. Unfortunately, there's no way around that. If you find that you still can't take it, use just 2 ounce of liquid, and do it like a shot. That way it's not in your mouth too long.

This product is great to throw in a smoothie in the morning. It helps make my intestines work so much better, and helps me not to suffer from irritable bowel so much. I needed something to help heal my intestines, and although this product is pricey, it is well worth it. I highly recommend it for anyone who suffers from GI issues. Metagenics makes great products!
