I've had leg cramps off and on since I was a kid, but the last 6 months or so had been miserable, and caused for a variety of reasons (a bad back, certain medications, and so on). Trying to work out a "charley horse" in a calf muscle was one thing, but sometimes it was the bottom of one foot, or the top of another, or even a muscle spasm in the ribs! I did some reading, and it seemed likely that I needed extra magnesium, so I started taking some. It didn't seem to help. Found these, followed the directions, and got relief within minutes. This stuff acts fast! I did some more reading, and found that most magnesium tabs are magnesium oxide, which is hard to absorb. I've ordered magnesium citrate, which is the most "bio-available" form, but it takes time to bring your blood levels up. On the other hand, this stuff gives immediate, although temporary relief, so I'm buying more NatraBio Leg Cramp Relief. BTW, one of the hairdressers at my favorite salon has been told by his doctor he should start taking magnesium to relieve HIS foot cramps, so I've ordered this 3-pak so I can drop off one pak of this safe homeopathic remedy for his use, and passed on the info about which form of magnesium to take for the best results.
