Have used these for 2 yrs and: Do they work better than a 400 dollar doctor perscribed orthotic? Yes, you had better believe it, because they out last the 400 dollar ripoffs, are more comfortable, 10% of the cost, and they actually, totally relieve heel spurs.

I bought these based upon a recommendation from a friend. I like them so well that I bought three more pair and have now used them daily for more than three months. Sometimes I stand on my feet all day. The constant daily back pain that I was having has been gone since the week after I started to wear these daily. I wore some shoes a few days without these footbeds and I did have the back pain return. I now never wear any shoes without these in them. Out of the box prior to heating they feel terrible, but they have a 90 day satisfaction guaranteed policy. They recommend putting these in the oven at 200 and standing still in then for two minutes I have found that I do that twice to get a better initial fit. I have a pair in my treadmill shoes, my daily shoes, and my switch off shoes as well as another pair. They are easy to switch to a different pair of shoes. I did not need to do any trimming. When a pair of these wear out, you can bet I will buy another pair. Amazon's price was also the best I could find, it helps to have Prime.
