These Medline 1000 ml gravity feed bags with feeding tubes attached are "exactly" the same gravity feeding bags as provided by my Cancer Treatment Center's supplier through Medicare but at 1/3 the cost.Wow! They arrived from Continental Medical Supplies at my house the day after I ordered them with no special shipping request. Outstanding service.The Medline ENT70503P bags (originally supplied locally), were delivered 30 to a box/case and included the bags with fill graduation lines, connected clear feeding tube/line, line clamp, and conical feeding tip with a tip cover. Note: Two of the original (not this order)thirty bags had a defective (only found after filling the bag), clear plastic "tube window" directly below the bag; fluid leaked from this area during bag filling, rendering the bag useless. No attempt was made to save them since I thought I had ample supplies. Wrong! The bags are filled (for me) with 2 - 8 oz. cans of Jevity 1.5 liquid at each of 3 feedings per day. The line clamp can be positioned anywhere on the line so mine was about 1 ft. below the bag, which was hung from a portable bag rack. Note: Hang the filled bag from the pole rack and use either the tube clamp or the feeding tip cap to control initial purging of air from the clear feeding supply tube.After the stomach feeding tube is cleared by injecting 60 ml of water from a syringe and filled with "food", plug the purged feed tip into the feeding connector on the somach tube. Note. slight/insignificant leakage occurs at the connector (I cover the port with my thumb) during plugging or unpluging. Injestion of the liquid "food" takes about 1.25 to 1.5 hours and is somewhat dependant with the height of the gravity feeding bag above the stomach feed intake tube; higher = faster but still controlled by the line clamp. Again, flush the stomach intake tub after "eating".I now rinse/flush the used bag and line by filling the bag with 500 ml of water, shaking it, and letting it "bleed" to the kitchen sink from the hung bag.The local medical supply company which provided my original order via Medicare says that Medicare requires reuse of the feeding bags even though the bags have printed on them "do not reuse" and also that they are not sterile. Consequently I used up my original bags within ten days and when I attempeted to reorder more was told I would have to pay for them via credit card. Thus this order via Amazon.Excellent supplier and excellent price.
