Initially, I was upset that this Wrap didn't stay cold long enough, but after consultation with my physician I realized that you should only ice for 20 minutes. Now it stays cold for multiple cycles of 20 minutes on and 20 minutes off.The gel material conforms to your body very comfortably and increases the surface area of contact for thorough icing. This is a fantastic device.My only complaint is that the Ziploc bag you need to keep it in ripped very early on, so now I need to double bag it in a ziploc that doesn't fit perfectly. This is a trivial complaint not worthy of diminishing my 5-star rating.

It works just as it says it does... and does a good job of heating the very low back muscles... takes a try of two to get the microwaving times down as it can be over heated and be to hot.. but overall pretty good..

I had one these products before - the one for the knee - and I used it also for my back. But because this is specifically designed for the back it works very well. Love the dual way of use - heat and cold.
