Go natural with Biobag Biobag 33 Gal Lawn Bag (12x). BioBag Lawn and Leaf bags can be set at curbside for up to 12 days before the collected waste will begin to break the bag down. We strongly recommend that wet grass clippings be left on the lawn, where the clippings will quickly biodegrade and add nutrient value to your lawn. I bought these for my regular kitchen trash and my dog waste trash, a week's worth. I didn't really expect them to hold up, but they did! The only problem I had was they tear easily when you're unrolling them, however, that was easy to solve. Detach them slowly and they don't tear. I wish this product was more easily available. How can we get them sold in large stores such as Target, Walmart, etc?

Using the biobags for household garbage just makes sense. That way, everything in the bag degrades, or has a chance to degrade, at the landfill. If the garbage is in a plastic bag, it just stays there forever!We started out using the 13 gallon kitchen garbage bags but found out pretty quick that unless we put the garbage out every day (not necessary in this small household) the bags would break apart before we could take them outside. Then we started to use two 13 gallon bags together, but that just seemed a waste.So now we use the Lawn and Leaf bags for garbage as well as for yard work. Works out much better and we feel better about what we throw away!
