The modern, breathable knitted material makes the support extremely comfortable to wear. A persistently painful shoulder will tend to stiffen up over time as a result of protective positioning. This is where targeted exercise therapy – supported by an active support – can help. OmoTrain, the support used for posttraumatic and postoperative shoulder pain and osteoarthritis of the shoulder, optimizes shoulder joint control and counteracts painful rotary movements. The individually positionable viscoelastic profile insert improves circulation locally through continuous massage for faster reduction of swelling and effusions. With consistent use, OmoTrain helps accelerate mobilization of the injured shoulder and produces noticeable pain relief. Product Features: Knitted shoulder support incorporating an adjustable, anatomically contoured silicone insert . Unique design guides and centers the arm in the socket promoting mobility but inhibiting rotation . Have osteoarthritis in left shoulder aggravated by years of powerlifting. Weightlifting (lighter weights), however, now seems to help, strengthening the ligaments and muscles around the joint to help keep it in place. Was looking for something that would provide support while weight training, protecting the joint while allowing me to strengthen the tissue around it. The Omo Train Shoulder Support works as well as one might expect for a shoulder brace given the dynamics involved. It seems to me that you need something that is firmly anchored on two ends in order to provide enough pressure and support for a shoulder joint. The Omo Train was the only one that I found in my research that appeared to do this. It is well stitched and most of the material is breathable and appears durable. It is not neoprene but an elasticized cloth that one might expect to see used to wrap a weak or injured joint. Been using it now for a couple of months. It seems to help. It' s not a cure-all. I doubt any shoulder brace can be for conditions similar to mine. It's just a tough joint to protect. So for this reason, three (3) stars, would be the highest rating I would likely give any shoulder brace. Concerns: I purchased the largest device and it still feels too snug around the arm to me. Also the straps that pull the device to the opposite shoulder seem a bit weaker than they could be and while they work fine now, I fear they may lose elasticity over time.

I gave this a 4 star because this product has great durability and it gives short-term pain relief/shoulder relief. To be honest, there is no shoulder product that will help your shoulder long-term that I have found. Even this shoulder brace as one of the most expensive on the market. My high school trainer bought this for me and I've kept it and worn it ever since years later. This is a very helpful brace, it is durable. I've had mine since Sophomore year now 5 years later and is still working like new. The stretchy elastic has never faded, this brace is well worth the money.If you buy this brace, the durability is unbelievable, yes you can wear this during sports too.For support, I don't think this brace can do much but help give a little pain relief and comfort when wearing it. I can tell a difference that it does give support, but even after doing months of working out on my shoulder and body, there has been no signs of any pain or discomfort going away.When I wear this brace, it helps it, but I sometimes feel some stiffness in my rotator cuff area when wearing it, but I rather feel stiff than soreness and pain!!!!

I have shoulder pain but want to continue my racquet ball and table tennis activities of 35 yrs. Though nearing 60 yrs old I would like to continue the sports I love for as long as I can. Doctor says I have osteoarthritis and require partial should replacement.At first it only hampered my swing and play After few wks of usage it definitely helps alleviate pain after activities. Now I wear it every time on the court or tables. I tried taping and it helped but shoulder would be sore for few days. With this sometimes I have no soreness the next day.
