My husband loves this brand and hair product. He has bought it in the salon for much more. It is nice to find it on Amazon at a cheaper price.

I purchased this brand of pomade last year and it came in the same shaped container, except that the pomade itself looked clear -- kinda like hair gel -- and didn't have this white, cloudy look of my recent order. The new stuff looks like lotion and leaves white residue on my hair. However, it holds well and smells very nice. Although, I do wish that it held that "wet-hair" look/shine all day and that it wouldn't leave any residue.I don't know if the company, AC, has changed its ingredients or that I ordered a different "kind" before. All I know is that the product is not the same as before, even though the packaging/label looks the same.But having said all of that, I still recommend the product if you're desperate to manage your unmanageable hair and don't want to spend a fortune on products. Most other products that I have used (hair spray, gels) have either not worked well, or have worked but have then damaged my hair a few months later. For example, one brand of hair spray that gave my hair shine and control caused some hair loss. So, again, even with the residue on my hair (it's not much, but it's noticeable), I still will use this pomade as it isn't too expensive and gives me most, if not all, of what I'm looking for.

Honestly, the Pomade is great. The best stuff you can get. Here is the weird thing about ordering it from Amazon:First order: clear color - very nice fragrent smellSecond order: yellow color - no fragrance pungent "oil" smellI much prefer the clear version I got on my first order. Both of them work fine, but it is just weird that I got two different looking and smelling products even though the label still has the same ingredients. I guess it is worth the risk considering the price point. I haven't paid the $25 bucks to get it in a store, so not sure which one is typical of the pomade. Here is to hoping my third jar is the nicer version!
